Keyboard ghosting note 4

mystery250 5,797 974 June 16, 2016 at 01:25 PM
My buyer refurb note 4 I ordered on ebay has a ghost image of the keyboard that I can't get rid of in the background.

Is there any way to fix this, or should I return it?

Fix is unlikely, I would fight for a return. It is probably a display model that has been plugged in and running with the screen on for a year.

That's what I'm doing. I could tolerate the scratch over the front facing camera, however that ghosting/burn-in is ridiculous. I don't want to see that every time I'm doing anything.

I sent them a request via email and I'll update with how it goes. I was so looking forward to the phone replacing my current, but that doesn't look like it's a possibility now..

I requested either a replacement OR a refund, as I already ordered extra batteries, a case and screen protectors for the NOTE 4.

*sigh*

what I'd do is take a screenshot - if the kb shows in the screenshot then it's not image "burn in". That at least give you a better idea of what the source is, however it's very likely the screen is indeed toast.

There are some "anti-screen burn-in" apps for Android but I have no experience with them.
