This company filed for bankruptcy protection and is currently looking for buyers.

I suggest anyone with an account to delete their credit card information, addresses, name, and such. This data will be included in any sales or portion, depending on the buyer(s).

Don't expect a "blowout" sale, their website would be incapable of such. B&M is another story.

Debated posting this, was announced last week:

The original owners sold out a few years back and they've bled with annual losses since.

Don't complain when your information is sold....and sold...and sold.

Hastings gift cards expire July 13, 2016.

I only bought maybe 1-2 things from them and I was satisfied with my purchase(s). I know a lot of people complained about the shipping charges being PER item ruining any deal, but you have to remember that the items shipped from the website were actually shipping from individual stores and not some central warehouse.

So I had no problem with such practices.

Mind you any time a code/promo glitched like crazy it was typically 12 hours before I ever got the email about the promo and it was long since exploited, died and was buried. So that's why I never bought more than those 1-2 times from them. Though I will miss the company since the couple times I did buy from them they sent me great condition stuff quickly.

From my own experiences, he uses and abuses the sites he is a member of. He cares about no one but himself. If there's a deal ANYWHERE, he is the person to buy 100x of whatever it is to resell for profit, and usually get the deal pulled or canceled.

He lives near me. A couple years ago, he bought five copies of a game on clearance at target closest to me. Bragged about it here then soon found out the trade value wasn't worth a 'flip'. When I called him on it for being a scumbag for buying out the stock, he PM'ed me and told me he would now purposely return them to a target far away from me so I can't get a copy for myself.
Whine more, please.

Bummer. I bought from them quite often. Always hate to see the competition wither among retailers.

Achievements are not for the meek, it is better to forfeit inheritance of the earth so that the mighty may look upon my gamerscore, and despair. Achievements are for men who dream; men who dare; men who achieve! Men who carve out entire galaxies with nothing more than nimble cheetos-dusted fingers and their wits, and in our leisurely twilight days we shall sit by softly flickering fires with our descendants recounting the tales of these unimaginable glories.

they might survive, they only filed chapter 11. so it could just be the new owners want to restructure the debt they took on when they picked it up.

Got some great deals on used books during several coupons, even with the per item shipping. Wish I had a store nearby.

I've bought all my movies from them for a decade when they had their 33- 40% off sales. I don't know what I'll do now. &when I got wrong items they said keep it and refunded my money. No problems on this end.

I used to buy their used games when they had sale and free shipping. Those were great deals and the games were in good condition too. I hope they'll live on.
