FYI if you have an ally bank account you get Webroot SecureAnywhere an anti-virus anti-malware software
Go to https://www.ally.com/webroot and select Log in to Download. Once you log in to your online banking account, you’ll be directed to the download page where a license key will be presented to you

Stay the fark away from this. Webroot IS a virus. It's on par with Norton and Mcafee. Complete resource hog, too. Stay clear of this.

if you had of said on par with Eset maybe, but Norton is one of the worst resource hogs and useless. I would rather use avast than that. No major problems with webroot here (free through ally bank).

Thanks OP. 70 days remain on my subscriptions so timing is good. Found the same kind of deal last year and I can handle $3.33 a year per computer.

Another very happy user.

You are the first person I have ever heard say this. I put Webroot on my mom's micro-desktop pc, due to the fact it is not a hog.

If you run little known software, that makes a lot of i/o's, Webroot will watch that software like a hawk and track all of its changes. But, if you white list the software, the heuistic analysis of Webroot will then backoff. This has been the only case I have seem performance slowdown with Webroot. (not fully trusting software they it has not encountered in the larger meta-base. That is, little-known unsigned software. )

Have been using this for the past year and have about 50 days left so may have to bite. Love this security suite. Barely know it's running and it leaves your machines protected very well. TU

Placed an order last night right before bed and noticed today I never got a key. Logged in and saw the order had been voided and price went up. Guess the code expired and they didn't want to give it to me even tho it took it.
