Using Discover Cards Price Protection

DanielR3874 213 47 June 16, 2016 at 05:30 PM More Best Buy Deals
I am trying to use price protection on a discover purchase.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-g5...Id=5027401

The claim form says that I need a "Dated advertisement showing the lower price. This may be in the form of a printed advertisement or a signed letter from the store. For internet advertisements, this must include the date the advertisement was posted, merchant name, website address, the product and the sales price."

The issue here is the date. How nitpicky is discover on this? Any suggestions?

It is actually in there online ad, which I will send along with the product page, but still curious for sales that are not advertised with a date.

just make sure the date pops up on the side bar. I've taken screen shots with the date with no problem. also, don't miss the 90 days. I bought FIFA and waited until the 91st day and it was too late to claim.
