Compared to my Andrew Jones sub-bar?
How about any decent sounding Vizio bars under $100?
I really like the price point of the MP's

how does it compare to a VIZIO SB3821-C6 38" 2.1-Channel Bluetooth Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer? http://sellout.woot.com/offers/vi...ess-sub-17

All the reviews claim it sounds great. All the cons are with the small remote. For less than half of what these systems go far, I'll take it and just deal with the remote.

not all of the reviews claim this bar sounds great, several reviews claim that dialogue and voices sound distorted and buzzy. improving dialogue clarity and depth is probably the main reason to get a soundbar for tv and movie viewing, so if this detracts from the experience then it's not even worth $70. I have always found that monoprice powered speaker systems are extremely cheap and frequently suffer from early failures or humming, due to the inferior electrical components.

why buy this cheapo system when you can get a highly rated Vizio SB3821-C6 factory reconditioned 2.1 system for $99? I have this Vizio 2.1 and there is no way this monoprice sytem tops it, on any level.

link works fine for me on my desktop and laptop at work, or just go to www.woot.com and the click on the vizio soundbar on the homepage, all the way at the bottom under the sellout woot tag.

Will this 38" sound bar work well with my 55" vizio?

yes, the vizio 38" 2.1 soundbar/sub works with any vizio tv with no remote programming necessary if hooked up via optical cable. sound is fantastic for under $100. absolutely better sound than this cheap monoprice soundbar
