Most of these dvds don't have a digital code and if they do they're SD not HD. You have to buy the bluray to get HD codes

No, it's possible. You need to install an Amazon Instant Video app (initially it was a plugin for another app, but now there's a standalone one), and I believe the Amazon Instant Video needs to come from the Amazon market app (not Google Play).
