Amazon has the Microsoft Surface Dock for $127.54. This beats the previous frontpage deal of $129.99 in April.

Alternatively, you can price-match at Staples for 110% difference guarantee bringing the price down to ~$120.

It's been this price for a few weeks now. It dropped to $119 about 10 days ago but went back to this. I feel it's too expensive for what it does. $80-$90 would be a decent price

In case you don't know, you will need an ACTIVE mini displayport converterif you use this dock.

Most of the bad reviews are from people who got passive converters which are the norm, and roughly half the price . It's really Microsoft`s fault though.

The 110% price match is still in effect. I used it yesterday. Straight from Staples website:

Does Staples have a Price Match Guarantee?

Yes, we do. If you find a currently available lower price on a new, identical item, show us the lower price when you buy the item at Staples and we will match it plus will discount it by 10% of the difference. Valid 12/27/15 - 9/17/16.

Not everyone lives on SD, I don't take the time to post 90% of the stuff I find since I don't usually have the time to do so and I'm rarely at home.

While these SP docks can be VERY fickle, your statement is not true. We are moving our company over to SP4's and as long as we use quality mini DP to standard DP cables we are fine. The docks themselves still have quirks but active adapters are not necessary. We did have a LOT of problems trying to use adapters in general from the dock to say hdmi or DVI.

I feel like these docks are pretty expensive. If you just need to output multiple displays, I know for a fact that high speed USB docks will work just as well (for business use) and may be found cheaper.
