Best Buy has the Lenovo - 21.5" IPS LED HD Monitor - Black as part of their Deal of the Day for $89.99. Can be bought in store, but shipping is also free if ordered online. These monitors are $149.99 right now at Amazon and have 4.4 stars in Amazon reviews and 4.7 in Best Buy. These are really cool metal frame IPS displays with a pretty thin bezel.

I have 3 of these. I don't use the DVI but they are there. The glare can be a problem. Good price for Vesa monitors though.

What are the viewing angles like? I just bought an arcade cabinet to build, and I'm looking for an up to 23" wide 16:9, would be nice if it had a nice wide angle of view.

FWIW - 7ms response - gaming issues? Anyone comment?

Not going to tell anyone how to spend their money, but the old console games and their emulator counterparts actually look 100% better on a 29" or so CRT tv.

Completely agree, but this is a bar top cabinet I need to keep portable so weight counts.

In that case, the Dell 1908fp 19" LCD with 5ms response time is a decent alternative. It's 4:3 and can be had for about $20. It may be sold out some places because many people like this monitor for bar top arcade builds.
