Was on clearance at Target for about $99 or less, a lot of people purchased it then.

I got the very similar HT-CT370 recently. I couldn't be happier with it.

The 3 HDMI inputs support HDMI CEC, and the HDMI output supports ARC. I essentially never have to touch the soundbar remote, except when toggling "Night Mode", which reduces the bass.

A nice feature of my TVs HDMI CEC support makes the soundbar inputs show up simply as extra inputs on the TV.

It's not a home theater surround system, but it's pretty nice. And the wireless sub means setup is dead simple.

The Vizio doesn't support DTS Master HD or Dolby TrueHD. This Sony does.

I'll admit I'm getting old, but back in my day, Night Mode usually meant more bass. Seems like a solid deal. I've thought surround sound has been overrated since it was invented, to say nothing of the clutter in your house.

I don't know how to make a thread, but I just got a Samsung HW-J450 at best buy. 300w rms, was $280 msrp but going for 1/2.

haven't seen many 2.1 with that kinda power <$150, so check your local best buy if you're in the market for something like this.

that's odd, I've only ever heard it referred to as decreasing bass (because that's what resonates thru walls to bedrooms/neighbors/etc)
