OP, please correct title
such click bait... lol

I was ready to buy it in a heart beat even if it is TN panel

buying a 32" curved 1080p monitor is like buying an Athlon XP computer fitted with 16GB ram

good price on the 850 EVO 250GB though

I didn't see this posted so I thought I should share.

Fry's has Samsung SSD 850 EVO 2.5" SATA III 250GB on sale for $75 with free shipping and also in store pickup only for Saturday 6/18.

http://www.frys.com/product/8310177

You need a Saturday promo code which can be received for free from subscribing to Fry's ads.

You may face an issue applying the promo code in the cart at first for shipping option. The trick is to apply the promo code at the last step while checking out. I had to do this to have the price adjusted to $75 and got free shipping show up.

I tried to search for a duplicate but didn't see any when I searched on my iPhone. Now that I search on computer, I can see there was another umbrella thread on Fry's Saturday deals and this SSD was included as part of that thread. The iPhone app must have been faulty. Sorry about posting this duplicate. Please delete.

My price point for this drive is around $64 which is what I paid back during the holiday sales. They've been priced higher since then especially on Amazon. Not sure if NAND prices are going up, the retailers are charging a premium or if Samsung just raised their prices.

I assume you referred to this thread here then: http://slickdeals.net/f/8589110-250gb-samsung-850-evo-2-5-sata-iii-3-d-solid-state-drive-ssd-mz-75e250b-am-65-w-masterpass-checkout-free-shipping

I have been watching this drive for about 3 months and the price has never got lower than $80 until now. I missed the price of $65 back in March then.

Samsung knows they have the best SATA SSD's on the market in the 850 series, they're selling well, and neither Samsung or retailers have reason to lower the price. Everyone is making a good margin on the product. It would be nice to see it around $60 before too long though. More TLC is coming on the market including 3D TLC NAND by Crucial, so maybe we'll see a little more pricing relief.
