one of the best phones ever. It still holds up today.

especially if you can root and put some custom software on it. You can get programs like X cam which takes the camera to another level.

also is a former Flagship that has a removable battery, so you spend some of the dough you save and get one, (and a case as well) Hell i Carry a spare battery everywhere I go so I'm always reloaded

a couple caveats though. It doesn't have Quick Charge, and it doesn't carry band 4 even though it is a 4G LTE phone. those would be my only reason to upgrade

How bout this deal? Might be a stop gap between the wife's S4 with cracked screen and her next phone, then give this one to the kid.

Can I put Xcam on it after just rooting, or does it need custom ROM? I'm assuming this is the TMO version with wifi calling?

It has qualcomm 801 - which supports quick charge -

I'm not sure if you can put X cam just after root but it might be possible. I have cloudy ROM on mine. honestly I would just advise putting a custom OS if you're going to root because you get rid of a lot of the carrier bloatware that way

but I hear that that option was disabled on this phone. I would Google it. carrier disabled on some or device disabled on all but yes I would definitely do my research on that

I was like this is great price! But then saw the seller refurb and "will show moderate scratch" etc. Still good price for those willing to take a chance on G3.

WoW, the price drop a lot. last time, it sold $119.99, but I brought the LG G3 D851 @ 109.99. I thought I got the cheaper one. but right now, the LG G3 D985 @93.95 Frown . Can I return mine and got this one.
for the LG G3. the main issue is that a litte hot on back. but so far, Ididn't have any issue. after update to 6.0, it is very fast. I like this phone very much. but I like the nexus 5 more which had dead lol.

I'd also add, as someone who formerly owned this phone, that the screen is fairly dim and very washed out compared to basically any phone, even older ones. It has pretty terrible contrast and looks weird at off angles.

This was basically the VERY first 1440p phone, and it shows. It's a pretty good phone overall, but if you're used to even midrange phones from 2015-16 it will not look "premium".

The HTC M8 or iphone displays next to it made it really not look awesome.

""This item is in Good Condition (B-) and will show moderate signs of use (Scratching/Scuffing) on housing and screen - Fully Functional - Comes with generic charging usb and adapter. - This item is GSM Unlocked (Compatible for GSM Carriers)" Will not work with Verizon, Sprint and Boost."

Why don't they just sell things as "USED" anymore, how is it that ebay allows everyone to use refurbished? It's like "refurbished underwear, condition B-, might have rips and stains, but it's in fully functional".

I currently use this phone and I agree with whoever said the screen is a bit dim. A bit tough to see in direct sunlight. In addition I would say that this phone overheats easily. Just using it regularly there a times when it stops for a little bit and you have to wait for it to load (like maybe 20-30 seconds or so). Happens quite often if you switch between apps a lot. E.g. I switch from Messaging, Chrome and Music a lot.

I would say this is pretty good if you expect a mid-range phone quality. Don't expect flagship quality, you will be disappointed at how unstable it is.
