Looks like a good deal. I have never seen this one before. Reviews Look OK from the few I've skimmed through. One thing irks me though.

I'm sure they probably mean brass, not copper... I hope so, any way... Going to see if I can find the manufacturers page to see if I can verify.

Edit:
Searched on http://myivation.com and couldn't find the pressure washer, though it appears to be the same company that sells other stuff under the same brand on amazon.

If any connections (especially "quick connections") are actually copper, I would suggest NOT stressing that connection in any way and figuring out if there is a way to replace those fittings with brass. Copper is extremely maliable, and would most certainly cause issues... I suspect that it is brass and not copper, but without any manufacturer information to verify, I am hesitant to buy.

Fellow SD-ers, do yourself a favor and please take a moment to read the one-star reviews. You won't regret it. I was about to pull the trigger on this thing until I read them. There's no way I'm stepping into this one after what I've learned about this unit. Good luck to anyone who decides to take a chance.

Never heard of this brand but it does look like a nice setup if it lasts. I like that the caddy has holders for everything so its all with the unit at all times. I wont be buying since I already have a AR Blue Clean, but if I was looking I might consider with the Amazon warranty just incase.

Reviews mentioned brass connectors, but that's no guarantee.

Brass is more maliable than copper. The grade of the metal is what matters. There's overlap in their properties for sure

True, when talking about all forms..., I was thinking of plumbing fittings, as that seems to be the most relevant form of each metal for this discussion... Regardless of the grade of copper, there would still be issues ... copper+water+oxygen leads to oxidation... the patina formed would cause leaks and/or connection issues. And if it is a quick connect fitting, it would likely form and get ground down and form again, weakening the copper each time.

Most non-solder plumbing fittings for copper pipe tend to be brass. As are pretty much all valves and fixtures (if they aren't plastic... ugh)... Marine brass doesn't oxidize nearly as fast, in fact, barely at all... and it is harder than the grade of copper used for plumbing. Pure copper is mainly used for very intricate electronics like circuit boards, and would be stronger than most brass. However, that would be the most expensive fitting ever, and would still tarnish and leak.

Hypotheticals are fun and all, but I like to stick to the topic sometimes. I still doubt these fittings are copper or this thing would have far worse reviews.

It's brass. I own this machine but paid 189 a year ago for it. Best pressure for an electric pressure washer.
