The set has no 1/4" extension, the ones it has are stubby as hell. What kind of mechanics set doesn't come with a spark plug socket

I'm showing $8.63 in points back, not $14.99. I shouldn't be surprised, though. I went in on another recent deal where I was supposed to get $63.99 back in points but only got $44.94.

Fighting with them to get the points kills the deal, IMHO. It never ends..

only shows $4 back for me lol

As far as deals, looks like majority of their took sets are currently 50% off, you can get a 216 pc for 85 and 230 pc for 100. The key on these is they are not hot buy...so coupons work. Throw in a say 15 off 75 10 off 50 whatever you have for best points and then say a 10 back in points or greater coupon and you can make yourself a pretty sweet deal.

One of the reviews says that there are only two 1/2 inch drive sockets. I find that hard to believe, but I don't see the PDF with the contents details.

I paid 75 for the made in USA set 3 years ago. It had like a hundred something pieces, but is an excellent set. Every socket you really could need in all 3 ratchet sizes, allen keys, screwdriver, extensions, and combination wrenches.

This set is made in China.

I just checked, Mine is 154 piece. I guess they finally discontinued the old stock. Apparently some people still have it, but some of them are made in China now so it's a gamble.

It has some low reviews because the sellers did a bait and switch and sent the made in China set to them, instead of the made in USA that's in the picture. Ebay has them for $180 now. Yikes!

Craftsman used to be good. Now it's all cheap junk that's made in China. You can waste your time running back to Sears to get replacement tools every time a ratchet breaks or socket cracks.

You working on Abrams tanks or something? I have broken 1 3/8 craftsmen ratchet (because i had a 4 foot pipe on it) and 2 crescent wrenches (stretched the key chain size wrench out and lost the tension adjustment screw out of a 30 year old crescent so the thumb screw fell out) in my whole life, and I own fords and jeeps so you know I use my tools

I got that set for $149 I believe. Has 99% of what you need to work on cars and motorcycles. Add some pry bars and some specialty tools, and get to work.

i restore old motorcycles and work on friends and families cars/trucks/vans. It's a solid set.
