This is the number one dehumdifier on Amazon, has great reviews.
$269 - $51 instant savings, - $30 off with code "TRIPLE15"
The TRIPLE15 code only works on your first purchase, but will extend to two additional purchases.
Don't use SHOP15, as it will exclude you from using TRIPLE15, and SHOP15 only works for one purchase.

Dammit, I just bought this for $218 last week after my 1 year old Keystone died. It's really nice for anyone considering it.

What do people do with these? Damp basements? A/C alternative?

The (unfinished and very old) basement at my house gets a bit damp, so I run this to keep things nice and dry. This isn't any sort of AC alternative. While it will be blowing air out of the the unit, it isn't anything that you can control the temperature of (usually a bit warm, really).

After almost a year, just how many people on SlickDeals qualify for that? And it's not as simple as "use another email address." jet.com bans all multiple accounts.

I have two of these running in my basement. I've had two earlier models crap out and Frigidaire replaced both even though out of warranty. The seem to be quality but having two crap out screams low quality. With that said, I'd buy another Frigidaire because of how well the company took care of me even when they didn't need to.

I try to keep the humidity around 50% in my basement so all my SD junk that i've accumulated (mountains and heaps of crap i'll never use) doesn't start to stink and mold.

demumidifiers work wonders on overly humid days... you might FEEL like it's hot, but it's just sticky, and your body's natural ability to remove heat through evaporation is hindered.
