Awesome price on a real-deal mechanics tool set. Hardly any filler, wrenches alone go up to 1 1/4" sae and 34mm metric. This set even has a great deal of ratcheting wrenches included. Lifetime warranty on Kobalt tools. These are miles ahead of the husky brand, in terms of quality. If you're military, don't forget the extra 10% off as well. They aren't American made, but very few tools are anymore in this price bracket. My father and I practically went through an entire restoration project with a single Kobalt tool set over the course of three years, they hold up well.

Geez people get over it. If it was made in the USA you'd have to pay $600 for this set because they'd have to pay union workers $30 an hour for the same job everyone else does for 10.

It would be worth it though. I prefer quality over quantity.

considering the only quality difference may be in how they are marked, go ahead and throw your money away. even with the usa made tools you aren't paying for any higher quality, you are paying the labor union and the service truck driver. if you aren't a professional mechanic then you are just putting money in union bosses pockets. professional mechanics aside, this is just as "quality" set with a lifetime warranty...go preach baseless nonsense elsewhere.

I'd bite if I didnt have craftsman tools already. my craftsman set isn't nearly this big, but it has served me well for the home/auto repairs I do. My only complaint is that if a part goes bad, it's a hassle to get out to sears for replacement. Lowes are much easier to find and closer for me.

Are those your own legitimately obtained one-time-use codes that you are sharing or did you use a generator that exploits a mathematical hack to produce codes which Lowes may have already or soon will be sending to an innocent Lowes customer who will lose their legitimately obtained discount if someone else uses their code before they do?

Anyone have a complete list of included parts? Sockets look to only go to 1" but I cant find a list to confirm.
