As with all firearms purchased through the Internet, this model has to be shipped to an FFL local to you. Said FFL will then require you to complete a form 4473 [atf.gov] which is used to perform a background check. Once you pass that background check, the FFL will transfer the weapon to you. The cost of this transfer depends on your location. Also note, depending on where you live, additional requirement may have to be met. Check with your local FFL or law enforcement office for those and to verify this rifle is legal for you t
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Hey OP, I've been wanting to get an Ar-15. I want to get something on the higher end side, would you recommend a Colt or Daniel Defense?

CORE is definitely a decent brand(I'd say middle of the pack and the CS I have experienced with them was great) Not technically high end... Though Idk why you need high end, but to each his own Smilie

What's the purpose of this gun? FYI, I don't own a gun, should I fulfill 2nd Amendment?

hunting, self defense, target shooting, competition shooting, personal enjoyment, etc.

of course, people who are afraid of things that look "scary" and aren't educated about firearms are down voting this...

this isn't a bad price at all for what you're getting. You'll want to add optics and a rear sight...I like the MBUS Gen 2 personally.

I used to work at a gun shop, and the guys there would probably laugh at you for the first two. Although it is of course possible. It was all about 1 shot for hunting. Small caliber handguns and riot shotguns were most often recommended for home defense.

Last 3 are legit reasons though.

I believe there's actually only a handful of suppliers for lowers and uppers for AR's and most brands just put their name on them as a finished good, too lazy to look up the names tho

I just got a Colt M4 it's a great rifle. I took my friends Smith and Wesson M&P15 to the range last week and could tell the difference in build quality as soon as I picked his gun up. Personally I think it was worth the extra money for a better build quality (not saying colt is the best they are up there though)
