I was just about to comment about this that I was dissapointed as I wanted to get rid of my old DVD release but can't because there are absolutely zero extras in the disc.

Oh man thats a deal breaker. I love looking back at how the 2D animators did things, commentary and among other things from great animated movies. Absolutely a deal breaker. I remember BB trying to scam me into buying the 'Ghost in the Shell Anniversary edition'. Good thing I did my research and found out it had none.
Thanks for the heads up.

edit- The 'Oliver and Company' anniversary set has Special Features Smilie

I just rip the dvd to my computer and then put the digital file on our PlayStation. when my daughter asks to watch a movie and hands me the case, I just select it on the PlayStation menu and she's no the wiser. The movie never leaves the case.

None of my computers have an optical drive anymore. My personal computer is on its last legs, and I wouldn't want to install ripping software on my work computer. Digital files and Disney Movies Anywhere feel like a godsend sometimes.
