I have this TV and my advice would be to pass. My wife and I hate this TV. We are cable cutters so we use the TV only for the smart functionality. We are heavy Netflix, Youtube, Pluto users. At least once a week we have to restore the TV to the original settings because the audio stops working and this is the only way to fix this issue. That renders our sound system useless because that also means once a week we have to go in a set up the TV to use the sound system so we have grown tired of doing that time and time again. The TV constantly crashes and reboots. If the room is dark and we turn the TV on the splash screen shows with the Sharp logo and a black background. The black screen is soooo blotchy. We paid 2400 for the TV around Christmas time. I don't know how long we can deal with this TV but time and time again we wish for our old 50" Sony TV. For anybody who has not owned a smart TV I think a standard TV with a Roku or Amazon Firestick is a better cheaper option that having a smart TV. Maybe our mistake was trying this Sharp TV but it seems like you will get more life out of a TV with less tech bundled into it.

no need to ban ebay deals, I've never had a problem. I usually check the reviews on amazon and other sites (if available ) then I make a decision.

I'm tempted at this price, did you update firmware and calibrate the color?
