This stuff should read NO-KID instead of NO-AD sunscreen.

chemical based sunscreen + children = not worth it

Ingredients
Methylparaben, Carbomer, Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, Disodium EDTA, Ethylparaben, Butylparaben, Propylparaben, Isobutylparaben

A really good sunscreen for when my kids are going to be at a waterpark is zinc oxide cream, i.e. Desitin Cream as in for diaper rash. It's a bit obnoxious to remove, but it really protects well. It's the stuff you used to see on lifeguards noses before all the more modern formulations with questionable chemicals became so widespread.

FYI This one has a few ingredients of concern. Very difficult to avoid them to be honest.

i thought SPF over 30 makes no difference in quality but adds lots of chemicals

I used NO-AD sunscreen when I was doing field work out on the shortgrass prairie where I was often in the sun with no chance for shade for over 8 -10 hours, and never got a sunburn. :-)

I'm curious which edition this page is from. Seems that this item is completely absent from the online version of their sunscreen ratings. The list skips form Equate to Ocean Potion.

Question:
is it for face and body?
Answer:
I would only use this for face. The bottle would go very quickly if you were to use it for your body as well. Plus, I don't think it's very waterproof. I really love it for my face though!

Since the bottle design is basically a crashing wave, I'd expect a bit more waterproofing.

I don't trust CR.

this stuff is NOT safe for your kids' faces. it has a very poor safety score on EWG.

I'm going to make my own using zinc oxide powder and a oil or lotion. Commentators discussed it at:
