FYI: Other SDer from yesterday's post stating that walmart only gave them ONE jackstand instead of a pair. They had to argue or just took a refund.

So be prepared to spend a little bit of time when picking these up at store.

They are well-made however they are not very beefy if you have a big vehicle buy a better pair.

FYI: these are 2 ton total, not each (per the product description). From the picture on the site it would seem that there is a 2 ton label on each which is very misleading. Be safe my fellow SlickDealers. Large vehicles could easily create a situation where you are overloading these and then trusting your life to them.

All jack stands I've ever seen are labeled that way. Always the pairs weight, not the individual since they are sold in pairs.

Walmart giving out singles is a crock of ****. They have some of the dumbest employees at all levels.

2 tons is 2 tons. These are going to support half the weight of your vehicle unless you're a magician and can balance an entire car/truck on just two jack stands. Since 99.9999% of vehicles weight less than 4 tons these are fine.

I already have a lot of jack stands but want to order some just to see if they give a pair or not.

Even If a vehicle weighs 3500#, the weight distribution is seldom 50/50. Pick up trucks are going to have a larger front weight bias and they also happen to be heavy vehicles.

It is a good point that all jack stands are rates as pairs. I never realized that. I was just doing the math and 1000# each is something I wanted to make a point of. For around $5 this is a fantastic deal, I just would hate to think that someone might put themselves in a dangerous situation because they were so enamored by the price that they didn't give proper consideration to the rating for their application.

Let me help you out. 2 tons is 4000#. Pretty much negates your weight distribution concern.

I deserve that. I'm ashamed of my self for knowing that a ton is 2k and still failing at basic math.

Are you willing to take one stand at that price?

Do they have additional stock to let you get what you ordered.

I ordered 2 pairs, they brought 1 pair out. It was take it or leave it, no more in stock. No price adjustment.

Wasted 2 hours on fathers day to cash in on this deal and came up empty.
