Only no one knows how soon is soon anymore. Most watchers were sure they would at least announce something at the developers conference- in time for the school shopping season.

Now it looks like it may not be until the mid-late fall.

Even though they have announced hardware at WWDC, we cant be too surprised since it is an event surrounding software/developers and not hardware.
