Office Max / Office Depot have WD Network 3TB Hard Drive For NAS for $34 in-store pick-up only.

Edit: OOS online for ordering so now in store only

I used Office Depot website to identify stores with product in stock. Price in store rang up for ~$70, but price matched their own website.

http://www.officedepot.com/a/prod...Drive-For/

Brought receipt for purchased in-store drive and internet print out for match at Best Buy to purchase additional. Savings of $86 per drive.

Deal was previously posted here, but now $45 cheaper and updated with mention of Best Buy price match.

I agree it is an older model, but still comes with 3 year warranty and for a 4 Bay Nas you will save over $300 for 12 TB. Different strokes for different folks. Open to anything better for this storage space.

Wow I Ran across this yesterday but thought it was too YYMV to post, guess I Was wrong Smilie. Its a bizarre deal because most were wiped out when they were ~80 bucks a few months ago, I was just running through stock checks and happen to stumble on this. Found two in one store (different packaging but all good).

One store I went to had one in stock but the stock mysteriously disappeared when the employee went to the cage. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

One other thing, I was able to order for in store pickup, using the web portal even though it gave me a little grief about the item being unavailable.

OD employees are awful when it comes to this. I've had it happen on almost every OD deal I've tried, so if it's not on the shelf, I don't even bother asking. Ordered 2 of these from 2 different stores not even 20 min ago, and they already came back as unable to be filled.

I called. Asked for drive in hand before going to any store. Worth a shot
