How important are these, really? Are these geared towards the tin foil hat people?

These are good for people that don't think. Most likely people that are dumb enough to be fooled by a shiny object.

with the new contactless cards it's not farfetched that a card could be hacked.
and fwiw, when I got my green card renewed, it came in a sleeve that said to use it avoid WiFi communication with the card.

Tin Foil Hat People... You mean people who actually have the ability to critically think? You should search "RFID hack."

no idea about this wallet or RFID blocking, but it seems the $10-$20 wallet market leaves a lot to be desired. Every $15 'leathers' wallet I've purchased in the last five years has fallen apart within the year.

trying a $15 Big-Skinny this time. not leather. so far so good.

No need to buy this. I've seen the commercials, just listen for the tell tale "beep boop beep" when someone walks by you and then tackle that person because they're a criminal who just stole your life savings. Problem solved.

No need for this. Your info is more likely to be hacked from <pick-a-retailer> or you give it away to a web store than being hacked from an RFID drive by.

Your method would get me into a lot of trouble in a grocery store.
