Please help. Should I go with this or the Microsoft Store Deals? To be more specific; in comparison to this one. The i7 model. https://www.microsoftstore.com/st....333089700

Bought this for my wife a few weeks ago. Latest gen processor, 1080p, usb c, can add a 2.5 hdd for more space, can add another 8gb of ram for 16gb total, hdmi with discrete graphics, has a dvd drive. Only thing it is missing is touch screen. Great laptop for the money, even at full price.

Got ours in yesterday and I'm pretty impressed so far. For $550, this laptop is pretty killer. I was worried about the plastic build, but it's surprisingly solid and I like the texture. Trackpad isn't too bad, not great though. Speakers are pretty decent as well. SSD is lacking a bit on the write side,

Created a recovery usb, ran memtest overnight and furmark for 6 hours; everything checked out. Looking around for either a similar 8gb stick or a 16gb kit so the ram will run in dual channel

The Dell has ddr3 and a slower hard drive (not sdd). Acer has ddr4 which may be faster and ssd storage which is faster. Not sure about the graphics card comparison.

I went with the dell. $481 after taxes here in California. Pretty good . Backlit and touch screen. No bloatware.

It was $450 + $8 shipping from a 3rd party. I clicked right after the deal alert popped (and was immediately deleted) and they had 1 in stock

Bought the 450 one from OEM planet and it was a scam. Got a yellow envelope with a ripped up screen protector in it. Contacted Amazon and they said they contacted the seller and to wait 2 days and then to contact them again if the seller doesn't contact me.
