I have had these cans for a year. Do NOTA buy them at this price. It is a big mistake. They are not worth half of this. Major function issues on win10x64 w/ the 7.1 driver. Sounds like crap but louder when you don't use the USB sound card dongle, but just the 3.5mm jacks. Your choice. Now I have the Corsair VOID Wireless, which is nice, best set I've had, ever. A bit pricey. Not unlike these...

Clouds are better, theres a lot of complaints about the build quality on these being cheap and breaking. Just look at the low reviews on amazon, the kingston are on many best bang for the buck gaming headsets.

I just got the Cloud 2 and love it. But a wireless setup would be so much better for me as I take them off frequently. Using them for Hangouts & VOIP and the sound isolation and noise cancelling mic are fantastic.

Work fine for me with the LGS software in 7x64. Did you try without the LGS in 10? Given 10's issues with drivers, it doesn't surprise me. Throw one more reason on the pile to 'not upgrade to Win10'. [shrug]

I just bought the G230s last week. Is it worth returning for these? It seems like the only difference is the USB functionality but I need the 3.5mm for my setup.

G230 vs G430 difference is 7.1 surround sound with the usb and earcup color pretty much.
As a owner of G930 and HyperX Cloud II and now this which I picked up today, I actually like this better to be honest. Many people say Cloud II is amazing which is true but I didn't like it because it was extremely uncomfortable due to the limit on the headband extender. But this one I can say it's amazing quality like G930 minus the G button and wireless features which I don't mind. For the price, you can't go wrong with logitech and their 3 year warranty on it too.

these break really easily, right above the earbuds, where it says g430 in the picture.

That's how my g930 broke too but only because I hit against the wall. If you take care of it and not drop/crack it, I think you are fine.

I've had these for a year. They're pretty good for the price. But I did have one break right at the G430 when I dropped it pretty hard. Logitech was great to send me a replacement for free and didn't have to return the other one.

Got these on sale from Amazon for 34.99 and they're definitely not worth it. Ended up sticking with the cheap generic Logitech USB headset h390 which are way less comfortable but the mic quality is so much better cause it's pure USB as opposed to 3.5mm converted into USB. I would stay away from these unless you had no other option.

Thanks. I just bought them my local BB store and testing them right now. I was using Grado SR80 before on my PS4. compared to Grados these are very tinny sounding and missing bass. I play Driveclub a lot and the Ferrari 599xx evo is sounding too shrill on G430. Grado is VERY soothing. The only thing I now have to test is comfort over long sessions of gaming. Grados do get uncomfortable after about an hour or so. However one thing is clear, the G430 is pretty snug fit and I do not have a very good feeling about its long-term comfort. Let's see!
