solid deal, more than likely most people can't get the 791 price but can get one shipped for a little more.

It's too much money for the product. It's old and a Macbook Air with a newer i5 will work better and feel more snappy.

Tempting. Wanting to pick up a Mac for school. That's right in the price range I'm looking to spend. I think I might hold out for an Air... love their battery life.

you could potentially upgrade this to 16GB ram and 2TB HDD, or an SSD/HDD combo. the only reason i am even considering it. its either this or buy one used off ebay, bleh. One of my favorite models of the macbook, i should have never sold mine..

Buying off from eBay is a great idea because it will not cost more than $500 to get a good one and then you can upgrade it to a better capacity.

This, the $830 8 GB 13 in Air on eBay right now, or the $900+tax open box MBP with Retina?

Using for school for notes and projects and just general usage as well.
