Amazon.com has an awesome deal on a highly rated Netgear DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem (16x4) and AC1750 router bundle for 138.99 plus tax, with free shipping through Amazon Prime. This router is compatible with some of the higher tiers for internet service providers (i.e., Cox Ultimate, etc.)

The router currently retails for $128.99, while the modem retails for $89.87 separately.

Not my first post, but please be gentle if I forgot anything! Smilie

Interesting... both modem and router seem to have good reviews. May just have to do it.

Anybody on SD have any experience with these?

almost tempted to TD u for not posting this last week. dammit! I hopped on the 109.99 deal from newegg for the TP-link combo. it's working great and I love the value, but this seems like it might be a better deal?

However, if you read wirecutter's review it says the Archer C7 is a better range router.

Will this work and let me send our Comcast modem/router back to them and avoid the rental fee?

I bought the last deal with that router and the 8/4 modem. Haven't used the modem but the router is excellent.

Not to insult your intelligence, but as someone else mentioned you can use that modem with your current internet service. Just in case you're paying for a monthly modem fee!
