Such a new drive I feel it will be cheaper come BF season. I did use the FATHERSDAY promo to pick up a Roccat Nyth for $83.78 cheapest it has ever been anywhere is around $100. It's been $89 and some change for the longest at jet with the 15% promos.

FYI on the FATHERSDAY promo. I obviously used it on this order but it said I have 2 more uses so I think it's a total of 3 with the first being your initial order. Expires Sep 2016 which is odd for a Father's Day promo but I'm not complaining lol.

That's odd it tells me 2 more uses and I've never used it. I still haven't bought this drive myself. I kinda really wanted the 4TB Backup Plus in Blue. But thought I'd post this anyways since it seems to be the cheapest I can find at the moment. Sorry I don't know what a Roccat Nyth is.

I currently have one of those Ultra 3.5 enclosures for the Tiger Direct clearance on ebay paired with a 3TB Seagate 7200rpm drive but it has an external power source and I keep forgetting to flip the switch when I turn off my xbox. Then the next day in the evening I'll be sitting on the couch and see the blue power button glowing against the back of my entertainment cabinet of course the enclosure feels nice and warm to the touch because the drive has been on for 36 or so hours by then. UGH. lol would much rather have a usb powered drive so it shuts down when the xbox does.

I just think this price will drop later this year. I think they have only had the 2TB model and the 4TB is fairly new.

The Roccat Nyth is a gaming mouse for pc that has thumb buttons that can be changed and even new ones printed with a 3d printer. One for which I have never seen under $97 anywhere. So again thank you for posting for the drive and having that 20% promo code out there. I utilized that part of the deal you posted anyway lol. If the price were more like $89 after a promo from $149 on this drive I could see pulling the trigger but not $110 when there are other options out there cheaper and faster.

Like I said I was more so looking for the Seagate 4TB Backup Plus in Blue. But even that the cheapest I've found was $130. Did see it posted for $110 once but I saw it after it had already expired. So this is around the same price as the cheapest 4TB Portable Drive I've been able to find. I don't want a Desktop Hard Drive. I use to have one of those and it broke out on my. I even returned the 2 TB one I got for $54 from Walmart back when those YMMV Walmart deals were popping up. I do have a 2 TB Toshiba Canvio Connect II but gonna use that for data back up for my PC. I really wish there was a 4TB Toshiba Canvio Connect II Portable but they only make them up to 3TB. As far as I'm aware only Seagate has the 4TB Portable. And Samsung but also made by Seagate. And the Samsung ones I can only find at inflated prices for the 4 TB Samsung P3.

If you are asking if it's worth it, I would say yes. ~$27 per TB is pretty good.

If you are asking if it will fit, the answer is yes as its just plugged in via USB port.

Depends on if you want a better deal. I say wait. Personal preference really. Save some now save more later when the retail price drops a little or someplace has a promo code discount for it (Newegg/Frys)

It looks like this is a 5400 rpm drive. Had to dig to find the info so just letting others know. I'm pretty sure some of the tests have shown that the difference between 5400 rpm and 7200 rpm is fairly minor on the XB1

The internal drives for the xbone are 5400 so you wouldn't really notice any difference over stock internal drive performance. I don't know what the spec difference is through the usb 3.0 port vs the internal drive write/read performance though.

Not going to lie, but just plugging an external into my Xbone and being able to store games into it right away blew my mind (especially since this is Microsoft).
