I'm pretty sure that if you happened to get a faulty controller, or you didn't understand how to use it, that it would somehow make the elite controller "garbage"...

I'm guessing the extra controller is not another elite controller?

Considering the Elite controller is $150 (lol) this is probably a pretty good deal.

looks like a pretty solid deal on a 1tb system if you were planning on an elite controller anyway.

The new One S (500gb) is $300...whats the difference from Elite?

$200 for the 1TB console, pretty good deal. Free game is kind of garbage (Watch Dogs, The Crew (currently free on Gold), Assassin's Creed Unity, and Just Dance 2016).

I love the Elite Controller, but you might want to wait until the new Elite comes out that supports Bluetooth.

This is 1TB and it has the elite controller and a spare controller.

The elite controller is $150 so that takes care of the price difference right there. A regular Xbox One controller runs about $40-45. 500GB is not enough storage if you play lots of games unfortunately.

The One S can stand up on its side and is a lot smaller than the Xbox One regular.

Elite console comes with the Elite controller and a 1tb sshd. If your not interested in the controller, probably should get the One S. I bought the Elite console in Nov. and the controller is awesome. SSHD is a little faster than the normal 1tb. MS says it's 20% faster startup from being completely turned off.

If you have waited this long, it may be worth waiting to see if the new S system will have an elite package.

So the debate really comes down to this:
- Spring bundle ($300) - 500gb HDD, 5 games, 2nd controller
- Elite bundle ($350) - 1TB SSHD, elite controller, 2nd controller, 1 game
- Xbox One S ($300) - 500 GB HDD, smaller, bluetooth, new controller

I'm leaning toward Elite because I want that controller. Not sure if the space savings/bluetooth are worth giving up the elite controller...

The Elite controller is garbage. I had pre-ordered it when it came out and it broke the first 5 minutes of trying it out had to return it for a refund because they had no way of replacing it so I didn't ever bother trying it again.

The magnetic paddles underneath are too close together and touch so when you press one they both get pressed.

The Xbox One S also has a 4K Blu-ray drive and supports 4k video streaming from Netflix, Amazon, etc.

And HDR support.
