Yep, a little high on their sale but this is the better stuff.

Most if not all of the items on sale are the newest models with DDR4. Just more than I wanted to pay for a laptop but the $349 one at Microsoft was a risk as no one had one to report back if it was a real 1080P. After the BB fiasco I am leery of some of the low ball sales promotions.

Ordered an omen laptop last time, HP cancel the order after 2 weeks , customer rep told me that they can't build the laptop and offer me a same laptop with half SSD and double price . Than they send me a email saying it is my request to cancel the order , what a liar company

Just swooped in to say, this is an I5 Latest generation, and it comes with a 960M which is pretty sought after, not to metnion 8 b ram and a 256 gb ssd which makes this pretty goood for only 742.

Pretty slick office workstation + multimedia machine, but I'm not sure if it would be well-suited for gaming. Does anyone know how slow the response time on the display is, and how effective the cooling system is?

Any feedback about this unit? I've been looking for a review for it and google always lead me to Pavilion 15 With 950m (the green one) which is obviously different from this unit. It would really help me a lot if anyone can give a detailed review or some pros and cons of this laptop because I'm planning to buy a laptop which is under $800 and I'm choosing between HP Pavilion 15 - BC030tx (this one) or Dell Inspiron 15 7559.
