Those specs are wrong, but this is a nice looking laptop. I have the Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro, and have not been too happy with it. It only worked well for a year, then started having progressively worse issues.Personally, I would never buy a Lenovo again.

I was going to say. If you buy this laptop, get the extended warranty.

I tried to fix minew, ended up having to send it out under warranty: the motherboard was replaced.

yea Lenovo is definitely risky. The design of this laptop is great and the specs are good for the price, but that Lenovo build quality...

thx guys so late in the night i failed to copy paste properly

xps 13 128gb i5 was a similar price and that did pique my interest some but i had to go with the yoga at the end of the day because the 11 hr battery life is not something I'd need for my lifestyle and 6 hrs of video seems sufficient.

I keep hearing bad things about lenovo, I owned a y510p for a while it was an amazing device so powerful and worked flawlessly, lets hope my luck continues

I've had probably 8 lenovo laptops...build quality is top notch, especially with thinkpads. Also have a yoga pro 3...and it is an unbelievable build at 2.5 lbs.

This seems very similar, minimally bigger and heavier, but significantly better processor. Yoga hinges are the best I've ever seen. No upgrades needed, great deal.

People one here seem to love XPS line over Yoga (maybe because of SD's tight-knit affiliate deal with Dell?)

Anyway I just got a XPS 13 and it is going straight back...I literally have both and imho: the XPS is garbage compared to Lenovo. Shape, design, size, weight doesn't compare.

Not sure if this has the same dual usb/charger port, looks like it does (Google: "Yoga 900 oem charger") but the charger is perhaps the 2nd coolest thing about these new yogas. It is about the size an iPad charger! You don't always think about stuff like that as laptop chargers have just always been huge...but it is seriously amazing, no stupid huge brick with a big PC cord. Literally 1/4 the size and weight of normal laptop charger. So convenient for travel and it compliments the 1/2" thickness.

How does the SCREEN compare on the XPS vs Yogas?

Great price. I've had great success with the Thinkpad line, but Yoga 3 14 experience has spooked me with Lenovo: ghost touches, adapter failures, loose connectors, dead usb port, then finally failed motherboard -- all in a few months.

How spooked? I actually haven't even broken the seal on the new Yoga 900 they sent to replace my Yoga 3 14 (nice gesture by Lenovo, but I'd rather have had a quality laptop). I'm debating whether to sell it and just get a Zenbook or similar. Losing 2-in-1 is not a big deal; I've got a couple of low-end Dell and one HP 2-in-1s already.

I originally wanted the xps 13 because of the sexy bezel, the thin bezel makes the total size of the xps 13 smaller than most 13 inch laptops. I also liked the xps 13 because of its 15 hr battery life (non touch 1080 model). and it also has a dock via thunderbird

I would stay away from this line of Lenovo laptop. I have the Yoga 2 Pro and I have to say I've been highly disappointed with it. The specs on them look nice on papaer, but they don't do justice to the device. My notepad has crashed on me multiple times (blue screen of death OMG), battery doesn't last, multi-tasking is horrible, and I had screen flickering issues at the beginning (bug with built-in Intel power management; finally found a work around a few weeks ago). I absolutely love the Thinkpads, but these definitely need some work.

I've owned a Yoga 2 for about 2 years no. Absolutely no issues. I would order this but I need a larger screen for my IT work.
