Have they solved the issue with the XPS 12 9250 battery yet? It looks like a nice computer, aside from the battery complaints.

Got an XPS 8900 for $467.35 + tax with the following specs:
- Scratch and Dent
- Core i7-6700
- 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4
- 1TB 7200RPM 2.5"
- nVidia GT730
- 16x DVDRW
- Dell DW1801 WiFi + Bluetooth card
- Windows 10 Home
- 1yr Premium Warranty

Original price was $719 - 33% off (coupon) - 2% off (extra discount you ask for when you use Dell Sales chat) = $467.35 + tax

I was going to build my own Skylake (Intel 6th gen) i7 desktop but this pre-made system from Dell will probably be cheaper... Only thing is the reduced expandability versus custom build and this only comes with a 460W PSU so video card upgrade options are limited. You guys think this was a good deal?

Does anyone know if end-users can upgrade the crappy Inspiron 11 3162? I don't care about the processor, but being able to throw in one of the myriad small SSDs and SODIMMs I have kicking around would be useful. I know they can be configured with that stuff as-new, but is that end-user doable?

Why am I even asking? I have $101 in promo cards about to expire and nothing to do with them. Big Grin

The cheap i7 systems got wiped out already, but got a decent i5 one for under 500. The 470w PSUs will certainly run most single video card setups. I have a 970 GTX in a comp right now that has a 450w PSU.

Ripped! Walked into Best Buy and even though it said they had it online they didn't have the open box i7 so instead I got the i5 that was open box priced at 590 before student coupon. Total after tax came out to 480 however after I checked out I noticed an old price sticker on the box listing it at 480 so went to customer service and got it adjusted so total came out to

480-150 student coupon
330+$30 ca tax
Walked out with an i5 1080p laptop for 360 now that's what I call a slick deal!
