Reading couple reviews you can NOT upgrade the hard drive or ram because it's next to impossible to access without causing damage.

I did see this at my local walmart but ended up with the ASUS X555LA (i7 , 6GB, 1TB, 15.6") for $249.99 they had off to the side of it

Wrong, you can upgrade it without damage. You have to remove the entire bottom cover to access
