Is it dead or does it still have great games coming out regularly?
Please make up your mind.

The Vita is so dead it isn't even funny. It does still have great games coming out regularly though, thanks to publishers like XSEED. Just a heads up for anyone who might be interested.

Same price from the same seller on May 31. If you can't decide right now, there is a good chance you will see this deal/seller combo again. Or, the OLED Vita refurb for $99, same seller.

I am likely going to use this for the vita freebies we get monthly, and remote play if I get it at all. Is hard hard to justify the 120 bucks if I won't play it that often? My backlog is so insane who knows when I will use it...

Does the remote play work well? I know it's dependent on wifi quality, but generally speaking. I'm thinking of selling my 3ds since I haven't turned it on in ages and picking this up.

Sony didn't even bother mentioning the vita at their E3 conference. It's a pretty dead platform.

There's a solid lineup of first party games, indie games, and features. remote play is a nice touch, and most ps one games are playable on the system. it's certainly worth 120, but expect to pay a premium for the memory cards. if you have a psn subscription and a playatation 3 or 4 console, this is a great companion unit.
