I've installed in my house. it's a good kit and a great product. Super quiet, nice features, and installs in a couple hours easily. the remote range is phenomenal and there is tons of power with the 1.25hp motors.

I could use a new opener mine is pretty noisy. Going by the reviews this one looks a pretty good deal.

I did a bunch of research into openers lately due to ours being noisy and not very good at picking up the signal to open, and every place I looked had this one at the top. It's about enough power to lift a couple full grown men, so in that sense it's overkill, but the price is in line with any good opener.

Amazon has it for this price often, check CamelCamelCamel, so if you can't get the 10% movers (which does make this cheaper), and still get no tax from Amazon where you are, that may be a better deal.

I actually have this unit.Got it at HD last year for $160 as a close out sale. Had it installed professionlly but set up b the wifi stuff myself. It's been great, extremely quite, can't hear it from inside house unless really listening out for it and even then it's hard to hear. Range is very far with car remote but the app is the best feature. It has been flawless so far and I can open the garage from anywhere. Definitely recommend and the price is pretty decent

At this price, I'd just get the jackshaft opener.

Which one is better? The previous owners made the garage a room and left the door but sealed it with clear Silicon. I want to make my garage back into a garage. Which one would be the easiest to install.

I have a similar Craftsman version that I installed about a year ago with battery back-up. Love it! Quiet and you can't beat the peace of mind that you know when you've left your garage door open!
