I consider Squiers to be more entry level...
I would probably call this intermediate level.. unless, your experienced level is $2000..lol

Although nothing like a traditional jazzmaster this a pretty cool guitar if you are looking for something with humbuckers.

My son has one of these and it sounds and looks great.

The only word of warning I would have for those that haven't seen one in person is that the jazzmaster offset body shape is on the large side for a solid-body electric. Shouldn't be an issue for most people but something to be aware of.

Great price for this model, I would definitely recommend it.

Link shows $499 for me but if I navigate to their home page and select deal of the day then it shows the $349 price.

Anyone know how the tremolo and bridge is on these things? Is it plagued with issues like the squire models or are these ones much better? Also, I can't tell but is this a floating style tremolo or does it rest somehow similar to a strat (only drops notes). Sorry, I've never played one of these before, but I like the style (humbuckers, 25.5" scale, strat style neck, etc).

Made in Mexico.

I prefer (much) the Made in Japan stuff. But decent for the price...

i have one in sunburst

slap some thicker strings on it and the tone's amazing

i'm a gibson guy and this is my only fender

like someone said, it's more of an intermediate guitar

needs constant of tuning, setup, maint

probably not that great for beginners for that reason

but the tone's really nice

Apparently dead? I see headphones now.. But, even though I'm not a Jazzmaster fan, that's a sweet-looking guitar.

Looks nice, but to me the point of a jazz master is the funky pickups and the unique switching.
