For reference:
If you need batteries for a lot of different devices, the sale on alkaline batteries is a pretty good deal. I was looking for rechargeable ones since my appliance runs through them so fast. Hopefully someone else looking for rechargeable AAA's finds this helpful.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

LSD is hard to come by ever since the dead stopped touring...

Almost pulled the trigger before I realized these were not LSD. I have no need for a lot of batts that will drain just sitting around. Great deal if this is what you need!
In for the 16-pk of AA at 91 cents per battery, not bad.

I understand it won't last as long as Eneloops but those cost more than twice the amount. I also like the convenience of disposing rechargeables at most store recycling kiosks whereas it's a pain to find a location that recycles alkaline batteries in my area. The less batteries in our landfills the better.

I like this deal and I'm getting it again. I first picked up some in January for the same price. For reference, however, it has been this price and listed on the Frontpage at this price point maybe 7 times in the last six months.
