Good price and thumbs up!

That said, after reading reviews I would not recommend this to anyone unprepared to deal with the potential driver issues. Additionally, a few of the customer reviews also complained it was unusually slow which I'm sure is due to the 5400rpm HDD. For a good all around experience you should expect to perform a SSD upgrade as well. Factor that in at an additional $50-$60.

Most of the bad reviews are basically complaining about the Video Card drivers. Actually this is an issue because some brands, like Lenovo here, and Toshiba also prevent the default Intel Display Drivers to be installed in their Laptops and instead they provide some customized version of those Intel Drivers. These drivers are buggy sometimes and most of the times, not up to date. As a result Bug fixes from Intel, does not come to these Customized versions immediately, you have to wait unless the manufacturers release it.

One solution is to download the latest Driver from Intel and unzip it into a folder. Then manually uninstall the Display Driver from Device manager by checking that remove the driver from storage/drive , restart your machine and then manually install driver for the Display Adapter from Device manager and point it to the downloaded Intel Driver folder.

YES, and no GTX 980M either. also it has only 1080P resolution, no 4K either. $400 is too much for this configuration.

I know it's easy to get bitter when posting deals on SD and then reading unreasonable or irrational comments, but it's really not worth responding sarcastically especially when they're from new and inexperienced members that might not know any better.

Most considerate of you as it should perhaps be helpful to others, yet not to this computer-challenged old man---------it just as well could have been in a foreign language.

Your state determines tax, not Amazon.
