Yeah, it's a pretty good price even if you were thinking of building your own. An i7 + mobo is going to be at least $300, $80 for a windows license and $50 for Ram means you're getting the hard drive, wifi card, DVD, case/psu and keyboard for free.

If you're looking to upgrade this, it's only got 2 ram slots so is going to have 8gb + 4gb sticks, so maybe get an extra 8gb one to get dual channel performance.
It'd also benefit from an ssd - there are 3 sata ports on the motherboard (google says it's a MS-7869) so that should be an easy addition. Not sure about USB headers, it looks like there's an unused usb2 header. PCIe x16 would allow for any video card upgrade as long as you did the PSU too.

Pretty decent. Add a 1070 gtx when they are cheaper and probabaly replace the stock psu and you got a pretty decent gaming rig.

CPU benches at 10k passmark score, decent rig for sure given the price. Processor alone is going for at least 250 on ebay.

This is alright, for the not so tech savvy person that can't build their own. Hardware prices will be dropping quite a bit in the next few months.

I am really interested in buying this, just wondering how close can I get to this build if I am picking parts with a similar budget? No more than $450 I would replace the PSU down the line.

windows license does cost 80 buck, and it worth it. people build their pc just omit the cost of the os for no reason. i ve recently seen people here buy an illegal windows license for 14 buck, it was awful.
