Regular price for this combo kit is $429. You're saving $130 or 30% off. These are considered must-have tools for handy homeowners. The cost is even more if you buy them separately.

How does this compare to the DeWalt Brushless that was up yesterday? I ended up pulling the trigger on that. But definitely could have used a saw.

are you talking about the $135 clearance item? I went to so many stores. None in Cali.

Keep in mind that this set is not brushless. Milwaukee's brushless series is branded the 'FUEL' series and is generally considered the best out there...but you have to pay for them and they don't go on sale much...best you usually get is a free battery or tool...the drill/hammer set is $399.

Brushless does make a difference in power and a very significant increase in battery life. You might be best off sticking with the dewalt set for that reason.

for the diyer or new home owner buying fuel series is just throwing away money. in a professional setting one might find the extra run time useful but that's about it. I doubt most people go through 1 battery cycle in a month unless building something on the weekend.

this set is Milwaukee quality at a good price I say get this forget about Fuel seta unless money is burning a hole in your pocket.

get a cord if you need run time longer than charger can keep up.

Not that it should really matter much for most home users, but not all brushless Milwaukee tools are Fuel.
