DISCLAIMER: This is another B&M very YMMV.

Price varies by locations. So I picked up this Vizio TV from Walmart yesterday. I found it on Brickseek as low as $109 but it was OOS anywhere near me. I found one in-stock for $328 which is still a pretty sweet deal for a 50" smart TV (most stores carried it for $428). It's got pretty solid reviews for that price point, and I watched it last night and was happy with it.

Check for stock and price at: http://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker
Model: VIZIO D50-D1 D-Series 50" 1080p 120Hz Fully Array LED Smart HDTV
Walmart Inventory # - 48194207
Reference Zip - 66204 (has stores with $109 OOS and $329 in-stock)

OR: VIZIO VIZIO E50-C1 50" Class 1080p 120Hz Full-Array LED Smart HDTV
Walmart Inventory # - 43310246

If you're looking for a way to work the system when your store's OOS, there's a pretty thorough walkthrough here - http://slickdeals.net/f/8841931-50-65-samsung-led-hdtvs-walmart-very-ymmv-deals-as-low-as-124-b-m-only?v=1&src=SiteSearch

Based on the comments at that thread, it sounded like Walmart corporate caught on to the return/rebuy process, and I didn't feel like driving all over town and still possibly get rejected. I'm happy with the $329 price point. But...if you're up for the adventure, go crazy.

Here's a link to the TV on Walmart's website, but it's not available online so this is some third party's price: http://www.walmart.com/ip/VIZIO-D...V/48194207

Also...don't call the store to check for inventory. The salesperson might lie to you and take the TV themselves....plus you could ruin it for everyone else on SD.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

You can include the Vizio E50-C1. These have been well discussed already in the other threads

Is D series entry level compared to their M series?

I searched but didn't see a specific thread for this...I saw one or two references to people getting a Vizio in the Samsung thread but I didn't see an actual thread for this deal. If I'm wrong let me know, I'll update to reflect the E50 as well. Is that the reason for the down votes? Thanks!

According to this, it looks like it. I'm not a TV pro just a dude who needed a TV so I can't give you a real breakdown comparison:

Thanks - all in stock around me in south FL, one store out of stock at $109. Looks like a JohnOM return/rebuy situation if anyone wants one down here.

Yes, the D series is their entry level series. Not much different from their E series either though. The M series is superior to both of them but Walmart no longer carries the M series. And of course the P series is their newer series that beats all of them.

Can anybody explain the downvotes? I'd honestly like feedback, I lurk but don't post much on here - I thought this was a pretty good deal and I don't see a thread for this. Is it just because it's OOS?

It's too rare/convoluted of a deal combined with existing threads about Samsung and Hisense TV's. Probably better to add it to the wiki of another Walmart HDTV return/buy thread.

I read on another thread that return and rebuy has been caught by corporate and its no longer working. some one still might get lucky. But do you guys feel I should try out?

Your call - I didn't want to mess around with it knowing I might get rejected. I was happy with my $328 deal, the added time/risk wasn't worth it to me. If you've got the time it could pay off, though.

The easiest approach would be to find a store that displays the item "in stock" via the walmart app and then have amazon price match the tv (if they sell it). Otherwise it is still possible to do the return/rebuy but employees are on high alert. Find a store that doesn't also list the samsungs on their clearance price and you're guaranteed that no one attempted a buy/return/rebuy at that store.

Majority of stores in New york and long island it is iether $428 and sold out also.

I was at Walmart and i saw this TV... but i wasnt aware of the deal i even google the model number and slick-deals but nothing came up. I saw someone hogging on that tv. He took out the model number page and was walking around with it.. Darn it i should have asked him.

it's very difficult. I tried in Boca Raton store and they refused to do return/rebuy.
