this has been available on ebay for about a month at this price from this seller (it didn't sell out like it has in the past). I know because it shows up on my main deals page everytime i visit ebay and it asks if i'm still interested.

The 65" is 4K. I'm personally waiting on that as well. But, I have heard several reports of LG upgrading customers to the 4K version of this set if they do a warranty exchange/repair. These TVs stopped production a long time ago. All OLEDs are 4K now

Good to know, thanks! What TV do you have now? I'm moving next month and am looking to buy something today then I'll just wait for these things to fall in price in the meantime.

I have the last 50" plasma LG ever made in my bedroom. Serves it's purpose. Decent picture. I can go 55" OLED for an upgrade. I have e a 65" Sharp Aquos in my living room. Could go to a 75 or 80", but the premium is absurd to me. I'm just gonna wait for the 65" OLED to get to the sweet spot of $2K Smilie

Sitting about 10 feet away from my TV which would be better? The LG OLED or this Samsung 65" 4k [samsung.com]? I am upgrading from a 52" Sony XBR6.

Can you show me any forums or sites that state what you just said?

Is there any proof/valid arguments that curved is nothing more than a gimmick? I keep seeing them and I keep saying.....Why? Am I missing something?

I tried the curved but did not love it. I got a 55 inch 4K flat panel and really glad that I payed up for it.

The only actual benefit I've noticed is that reflections are less obnoxious on the curved display. Other than that, its just because they can. From a design perspective, I just like how it looks in my room, but I can see how you might not like it if you prefer to use a wall mount and mount it flush.
