From what i can tell this does not look like a refurb? Comments says the are WD Reds white labeled as generics? More info? Good deal the way i see it.

These are good drives for me so far. Bought one from Newegg a month or so ago to go with my NAS/HTPC. They seem to have different versions of the 6TB marked for desktop, server, and NAS. Not sure the differences. But the one I bought has better heat level than my three 5TB WD green/blue drives. E.g. 41°C compared to 45°C.

I was hoping someone would answer this as well Frown When I get my 6 or 8TB drive, I was going to:
*Do a full format
*Run WD Data LifeGuard Diagnostics
*Fill up the drive using robocopy (or cipher) and run a chkdsk

Anything else I should run? StableBit Scanner?
