Don't forget that by Thursday 6/30 you want to have your rewards as close to a $10 increment (or slightly above) as possible. Otherwise you will lose some of your rewards since the quarter is coming to a close. For this paper, buying 3 reams will get you $1.80 (180 points) towards your monthly reward, however the $15 will be issued separately and should not be added in to your points total.

A post over on FW brings some bad news:
OfficeDepot.com is now charging a "processing fee" on purchases of stamps:
  • $5.00 processing fee per coil will be added at checkout for delivery orders.
  • $1.00 processing fee per booklet will be added at checkout for delivery orders.
Yikes.

That is awful news. Do you know if they charge these fees in-store too (and if they even allow stamps to be bought with rewards in-store)?

AFAIK purchases of stamps can be paid for with rewards in-store and there is no processing fee.

I have had one cashier not allow it but that was a one off.

There is no mention of not being able to pay for purchases of stamps with rewards in the T&C:
Rewards certificates may be redeemed on purchases (excluding all gift and prepaid cards) at Office Depot or OfficeMax US stores (including Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands), online or by phone.

I have 955 points, so I'll buy one ream and that will get me to 1015 points. Lose $1, but gain $10 in rewards. Thanks for the tip!

I just checked, and you can still place an in-store pickup order from the website, and not pay a fee on books or rolls of stamps. Your unused rewards even pop-up for use during checkout if you're logged in.

The separate payout rewards certificate for this offer has been made available -- at least for me. Not sure when but system dated 07/08/2016.
