4gb is fine you won't have any issues unless u wanna do logic pro, final cut and high memory programs like that

open box is 615$ - 100 student coupon comes out to less then 550 with tax not bad at all for 2015 macbook air

Will the student coupon work with Open Box? I read it in some other post that BB does not allows that. Not sure though.

I just ordered an open box for pickup at my local Best Buy, total plus tax is $565.01. Not a bad deal at all, small rig but, hot damn. I can't even get a decent used Mac for that price.

RAM is soldered in and the SSD module is proprietary so it may as well be no for most use cases
