Thread Details

Picked up a Philips Friends of Hue Bloom Starter Pack at a Sears store for $34.97. Looks like it's a clearance item so it's very YMMV. This was at the San Bruno, CA store.

It's model 259531. Comes with 2 Bloom lights and the first generation Hue Bridge.

The Sears item number is 39435. It's no longer on their website, but it's on the searsoutlet.com website at almost full price:

Sears stores are also clearing out the TCP Connected Wireless LED bulbs and starter kits. A19 LED wireless bulbs are $3.97 each, BR30 are $4.97 each and the starter kit with the hub and two A19 bulbs is $10.97.

Good luck.

Sears recently shutdown in my town. Good deal though.

For those that don't have a sears, some home depots have the single blooms clearance for $20.03

My local Sears (Concord, CA) didn't have any starter kits in stock. All the Bloom lighting was located next to the TVs/electronics department.

The Sears in my area don't carry the Hue lights. The layout of the stores is poor.

Home Depot and their clearance products are so hit or miss. I stopped by 2 stores today and they had tons of blooms in stock but no discount whatsoever. They had a couple of the light strips on sale for $59 instead of $89 but that was it. I don't know if this is a regional thing or variation just happens between stores.

Yes, they were with all of the clearance items on a metal cart. They yellow tag on the box said $59.06, but they scanned at $20

About a month ago I heard about the Home Depots clearance the Hue Blooms. So I checked my local HD about 3 weeks in a row. They were on clearance for $57.xx. I tried having the employees scan them and I even tried them at the self check out line. I became frustrated and gave up. My father last week knew I had mentioned them before and he spotted the price had dropped to $20.03. I asked him to purchase all 3.

I believe when this originally came about a month ago on SD, It seemed like maybe it was more of a west coast deal. I'm located in NC.

I have no idea why they discount these items at various dates far apart from sister store reduction dates.

btw these were located on an end cap isle in the lighting section. It wasn't difficult to locate the section. There were several other products that were clearance marked with big yellow tags. The picture my father sent me showed $20.03 on the shelf location itself.
