Great deal, almost pulled the trigger when it was around 100 recently. Glad I waited!

Is this dead? I see it as £69.99, so that's about US$97. What price did you see? How much is the shipping to US?

I just went through checkout, and $86.97 is accurate.

So, same question as always, what differentiates this over the US version? Seems like a great price, and never saw one of these before, just the original 5 movies...

Does this UK version include contain the five standalone discs (“The Best of Both Worlds,” “Redemption,” “Unification,” “Chain of Command,” or “All Good Things…”) or their respective bonus material?

No the deal is very alive. The shipped price is in the OP though will the currency exchange flying all over the place the exact price is going to hard to pin down.

Add the item to your cart and once you get to the address/payment screen the EU/UK VAT will be removed since US customers don't pay what is essentially sales tax.

Shipping for one item is usually ?3.08
Shipped price approx ?61.40

If you have a CC with no foreign exchange fees then you;re likely better off paying in GBP though that adds a little layer of uncertainly since it won't change to USD until the charge posts -- sometimes you win a bit, sometimes you lose a little, but MOST of the time it's still cheaper than paying Amazon's surcharge to exchange the funds for you.

Ah, my bad, I didn't go thru the Checkout process. Once there, the prices drops to ?58.33, and matches what you have with shipping.

How did OP come up w/ this kind of deal...?

According to random Amazon comments, neither the US nor UK release included these "omnibus edition" disks. They're just episodes in with their regular season.

It's been this price on and off since November at the ?69.99 rate. Nothing really special today except taking the 10% currency drop changing the USD price (and about 15-17% drop since last summer). Persian Mafia has posted a version of this item several time over the last 6-9 months as the price drops a bit and/or goes back on sale again.

There are about a dozen UK boxsets that regularly appear here either directly from Amazon UK (or Fr or It) or Zavvi

This deal used to be relatively better for us b/c the comparable US set was $200 on sale when you had to do the 7 separate seasons. The US set released a couple weeks ago and was only $100 so this isn't the screaming deal it once was and some people hate the 2 LArge interior cases which are pretty much just like the US set.

This set and ST Enterprise commonly show up, various large box TV series (Supernatural, Big Bang Theory, Game of Thrones, Sons of Anarchy, Battlestar Galactica (2003), Superman anthology, etc) , Universal Monsters set, Hitchcock box set

In the old days it used to be Planet Earth, Aliens Anthology, Bourne Trilogy.

Star Trek Enterprise Complete Series set is also around $60 (direct CC vs $63+ with Amazon Converter) right now which would make a nice pairing since you'd save about $3 on shipping together instead of 2 orders/

Shipping from UK and Germany isn't bad at all though Germany is much slower normally. Amz. Spain, Italy. France have higher initial shipping though sometimes the item price balances it out. Italy had some great deals a couple weeks ago, but most of their good stuff (STTNG s1-7 in separate cases for $70 shipped which is about $40-50 chaeper than anywhere else). is now gone

Correct about the US and UK sets. The standalones are unique items.

The UK and US (German/I/Spanish/Aus) Complete sets like in the OP are all pretty much the same as each other with different packaging and prices
