Hey guys,

I didn't see this posted, so I thought I'd share. This matches a previous FP deal for the same item: HERE

I got this the last time it was on sale.

FYI for anyone that has a FM1/FM2/FM2+ mobo/processor - this doesn't have the clip style connector. You will have to remove your mobo from the case, remove the HSF clip brackets from the front and then the support bracket from the back, and install the Aidos using their mounting bracket setup.

Sure it's "compatible, " but it's a pain in the butt.

IMO it's easier to spend like $4 more on a HSF that has a clip style connector to avoid having to remove your mobo.

Usually you don't have to remove the mobo. most cases that i've seen now has a way of removing the back plate by removing the other case side. Good manufacturer know removing a mobo is too much work too upgrade a heatsink.

I have two of these for a Dual Xeon build. Works great! Highly recommend. They are also 4U rack case friendly

No, usually you do have to remove the motherboard. What you are describing is still in the minority, especially when it comes to cheaper cases. It sucks, and I wish it was a standard across the board, but it simply isn't
