Great price for a very popular Eyeshadow Palette. This was a popular deal on Slickdeals earlier this month when it was $14 more. - brisar

Ulta.com [ulta.com] and Urban Decay [urbandecay.com] and Sephora.com [sephora.com] offer Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette for $25.
Unfortunately, you have to spend $50+ to qualify for free shipping. Maybe buy 2 and give to a pal?

Gwen Stefani introduces her ultimate eyeshadow collection in collaboration with Urban Decay. From her 15 can't-live-without shades to the super-luxe case, Gwen designed and developed her perfect palette. Wende Zomnir, cofounder of Urban Decay, and her product development team spent countless hours at Gwen's house, talking makeup and working closely with her on every detail of this palette.

The shades included in this palette feature some of the exact shades Gwen has always wished she had in her collection. In the end, Urban Decay loaded this palette with 12 new shades plus three from the brand's own collection. With an insane range of neutrals plus a few jewel tones to mix things up, this is Gwen's go-to kit to achieve her most iconic looks. And with these shades in your arsenal, you'll have everything you need to recreate these signature looks for yourself. Each shade features the brand's Pigment Infusion System™, the proprietary blend of ingredients that gives every shade its velvety texture, rich color, serious staying power and blendability.

Gwen had a hand in everything, including the case, which was inspired by her love of black-and-white graphic prints and antique gold accents. She also handpicked most of the shade names, which were inspired by her songs. There's even a nod to the No Doubt song "Magic's in the Makeup" on the palette's huge mirror.

Shades include:

- Blonde
- Bathwater
- Skimp
- Steady
- Punk
- Baby
- Anaheim
- Stark
- Zone
- Serious
- Pop
- Harajuku
- Danger
- 1987

- Blackout
0.6 oz.

I should have stated that this palette is on sale for $25 on the Urban Decay website also, so with free shipping it came to $25 + tax.

Would my fiance, who has pale skin and raved about the naked 1 and 2, enjoy this as a gift or is this for a specific type of person? I know nothing about makeup.

Yeah get it unless she has something against Gwen Stefani or No Doubt Smilie

Honestly, I would pass. The neutral colors in the Naked 1 and 2 are similar to the ones in this palette. The only differences are the super bright blue, pink, and yellow gold and I don't think it's worth it for those three random shades.

If you are just trying to get her a cool present and she likes the brand, definitely. Always nice to have a general & versatile shadow pallette to take for travel, gym, etc.
If she is looking for a specific set to expand her collection with very little overlap, consider the single colors that can be inserted into a holder. This brand and others like Makeup Forever make them.
