You must be kidding. The PSW10 is like the highest rated sub (for it's price point -- which is entry level). Last I checked it had close to 5 stars out of 2000+ reviews on amazon! I still have mine from a deal in college and it's alive and kicking well. The only reason I moved it to the garage speaker system is because I upgraded to the PSW505...

Edit: now over 2,500 reviews pulling close to 5 stars: https://www.amazon.com/Polk-Audio...B0002KVQBA

More information to back up your opinion?

#1 Best seller on Amazon and Grade A on Fakespot. This looks like a great deal to me...

Any promo codes that make the deal even better, or any deals that come with the center channel?

Wow, you seem to be the only one who thinks this sub is trash. Weird...

Probably because the vast majority of them are coming from TV speakers or other cheap audio solutions and haven't actually heard anything decent. This sub doesn't play deep or accurately, it's just a cheap boom box.

I'mm using that sub now and perfectly happy with it on my setup matched with a simple amp and Polk rti a3 bookshelves. Great quality bass it just doesn't have the visceral kick of ultra low frequencies. It's the best under $100 there is nothing else that remotely works in that range. Better can be had $150-250 but still in both ranges it's hard to find one with speaker level inputs to use with a T amp or other simple amp.

I bought the towers at $249 each when they came out. I like the speakers, the sub is not bad either. Really great deal if you're thinking of getting a decent home theater setup with a small budget.

That's correct. You'll need at least a 2.1 receiver. Might as well go for a 5.1 or higher though unless you're planning to use these for a PC.
